If you're talking about Duolingo I tried it once or twice while it was popular and didn't like it. If you want to learn a language buy a textbook and go through it.

I find the languagepod101.com lessons to be a good starting point before moving onto a more intensive resource, and they remain a good source of listening material throughout the intermediate stage. Each to their own I guess.
