I want to download DLC for my games, but it won't let me, because I don't have the newest system update?

Is there a way via homebrew that will allow me to access DLC shops without a system update?

if you are on 10.2 or 10.3 just use the eshop spoofer included in the homebrew launcher starter kit

that wont work for DLC as each game's "Shop" is not patched by that. also, it cannot exit via home menu and sleep download does not work. the patcher I mentioned earlier allows Theme Shop, Badge Arcade, MiiVerse, eShop, in-game DLC shops, and sleep mode downloading along with that the spoofer does not require getting stuck in homebrew launcher forcing a reboot back to SysNAND to exit once you are done.

Why else would you recommend using a CIA?

Because that would be the only way to do it via homebrew other than using HANS. I didn't assume, and you'd know that if you read the rest of my post where I said I wouldn't explain the process. This includes, but isn't limited to using custom firmware to obtain DLC. Again, don't assume someone is assuming; it makes an ass of you and me.

This person understands.

You assumed this, but they don't. FMP doesn't work as it should anymore and only serves as a temporary memory patch, meaning it goes away after a reboot.

Also, irrelevant, but Firefox sucks now what with the removal of XPCOM/XUL, and the (ex)CEO supporting anti-gay measures.

Alright, I forgive you. You made a good argument.
