Hacking How come I can't recover my Fantasy Life save?

So, something went wrong trying to modify and import my edited save file using that other thread's program.

(Thanks a lot for sharing a program without any instructions...)

Anyway, I backed up my save file prior to messing around with said program.

Yet, when I copy it back to the SD card the game fails to recognize/load the save file.

Any ideas?

I wouldn't go and blame the program or it's author for not including instructions, especially considering it's got a pretty explanatory GUI as the front-end. Did you import the correct save for your version? US 1132 and EUR is 1131.

some games will prevent you restoring a older save, if you played the game after dumping the save you cannot restore the save unless you make a emunand backup and a backup of your saves at the same time

basically always be cautious when using stuff that you dont understand.....if you not sure leave it alone
