Hello guys!

Anyone have tips as to how I can verify what version of BootMii is installed? Here's why I'm asking: I've read several topics that when you make and restore a nand backup with bootmii you need to extract the keys from the nand backup first before you can restore it. However I've also read that the newer version of bootmii will make a keys folder automatically when you run the nand backup option. I've backed up my nand already, but when I check my sd card I don't see a folder/file with the keys. Am I missing something here? Any help or information provided on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

if it has no keys.bin
then i believe its beta 3 or below

you can just run the hackmii installer to update bootmii
and make annew NAND.bin

Notsure as I'm not near a Wii just now but I think it tells you in bootmii. If you go from the main menu to the settings menu there is backup nand, restore nand and INFO

iirc it tells you what your boot1, boot2 and bootmii versions are in there.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
