ROM Hack How can I patch FE If 2.1 by myself?

Instead of waiting to DL the ROM of it already patched how can I take care of it myself? Also before the firmware updated I was able to get some cool stuff from the notifications and use the crystal ball as well. Am I going to have to wait to update the FW or is there something I can do about it now?

Depends on what you are using. I'm using Gateway so it's easier for me. When you download the patch, there is a .txt instruction that you can follow. I already patched the 2.0 so I'm going to repatch the backup that I have for the 2.1.
