Gaming How can a crappy game look this good?

Have a look at the trailer from Horse Life, it looks amazing & its just another pet sim.
Now if only someone uses this game engine to make a western riding shoot em-up, that
would be great.

Yeah, saw it and does look pretty jawsome. And I'm sure it will be entertaining for folks who are into horses, especially English saddle (which I'm a western saddle guy myself).

Kira Kira Music Hour is kind of similar in that respect. It's not a "hardcore" game, but it sports what I consider probably the best graphics on the DS. Of course, the gameplay is actually really good, if you enjoy a rhythm-sim game.

I reckon its on rails too, who knows it could be fun my girlfriend teaches horse riding so she might like it.

Would be great if Rockstar could use it for a Red Dead Revolver DS game or maybe a Gun DS title.

Rails or no rails doesn't matter. The graphic rendering is the problematic part and this one they solved rather well. Rails can be broken btw
