Hey, Everyone

I've been away from the Homebrew scene for about a year or so.
Just recently I have gotten my hand on another Wii And Ive become
kind of lost on what way I should hack my Wii. Should I Upgrade my
Wii to the latest Firmware? Also which Topic is better for Hacking:
-Modify ANY Wii 4.3 & below, Up to 4.3, any serial, black wii's, any region
-ModMii for Windows, Mod ANY Wii w/ Ease (no wi-fi required)

Another question has there been ways to play games from other regions yet?

Thanks, Inu

If you have an original copy of Lego Indiana Jones 1 or Yu-Gi-Ho you can update first if you want. Or if you have Super Smash Bros Brawl if it's a NTSC Wii. If you update first follow one of the sticky guides, that should do it.
If you don't have any of this games I would start with installing the homebrew channel via bannerbomb (see http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Bannerbomb). And upgrade the Wii then through the normal Nintendo update.
And after that I would figure if you want to install cIOSes and/or an cMIOS. And I would recommend to install BootMii to boot2 if the Wii is old enough for that to work.
One more thing: if you ever want to truly unhack that Wii the procedure would be a bit different. Ask again if you want to do something like that.
Oh and if you can install BootMii to boot2 you could do that first and make a backup of NAND before you do anything else.
