"Installing custom IOS, please wait...

Install ERROR! (ret = -1035)"

So, I tried to delete 249 with Any Title Deleter, more errors. Is it the base IOS I'm using?

EDIT: Hurr, durr. I used IOS250 now and it worked. I'll see if those apps work now.

EDIT: Works great.

Thanks for everyone's help.
So why are we going further with this?

Well I don't really get it, I guess your cios38 (ios249) was all mucked up somehow. Perhaps you installed a cios36?

So, I am having the same problem. Apart from apps, bootmii doesn't work for me because it is installed as ios. Based on all the answers, there are errors in firmware 36 and 249, so you need to reinstall ios and bootmii. Now one question remains. Which ios should i install?

Hello,

On recent wiis, you can only install it in IOS but not in boot2.
in boot2 than on the first wiis which were released.

could you post a syscheck report HERE, please following this guide ==>SYSCHECK

then we will guide you to see what is wrong.

did u maybe accidentally put ur SD card in to read only/ locked mode? if the switch on the side is broken off the card it will automatically think its in locked mode and your pretty much screwed.
