Well, I was just playing Soul Silver, minding my own business.

I fly to Vermillion City to capture a Snorlex, so I go to the exit, and accidnetally walk in grass, and I get in battle, and I'm like, ''Damn, should've used a damn Repel''.
The screen flashes, and its a Latios!
So, yeah, I've caught him, just wondering, but what are the chances that you see one in grass...?
I have Cheats off for all my pokemon games, so its not that :S.

Latias and Latios are roaming Pokemon in HG/SS.

In most cases you have to follow it lol.

Well that's pretty lucky! I haven't encountered one in the wild, yet. I did do the Wi-Fi event, though so I have a Latios.

Well, they are roaming pokemon, so it's not unlikely that you would encounter one. They stay in the same area until you get into a battle or go to another area and can be encountered in the wild. Still, good for you

What's wrong with that? A lvl.35 legendary can rival a lvl.50 (or higher) pokemon (well, not a lvl.50 pseudo legendary).

I know that, but now I have 3 legendaries to level XD.

Last I checked when you're in the same area as them they're the first one you encounter, or close to it (perhaps set as common).
