I just fixed my acekard yesterday and now I have a crack running down the hinge I didn't see until now. I noticed the sticky with about dissembling the DS and links to cases on dealextreme. Can anyone recommend a site that ships to the US with sturdy replacement cases. Not that I don't like Dealextreme but I'm leaving for a month on vacation August 1 and I want to make sure my case replacement gets here before then.

I bought a pair of joy cons for really cheap, but the right side wasn't being detected by the console when attached to it, it was charging though -

I took a look at the rail and noticed that the two last pins were soldered for some reason, luckly I still had the rail of my broken joycon so after I swapped them I was able to use it attached to the console

I'm pretty sure I know the reason it was soldered, but I don't know why someone would do that directly on the joycon
