Hacking Hey there just a question about the 3DS

Hello there, well I don't know much about the 3DS at all but can you play MH4 on the UK 3DS and how do you hack it?

nintendo 3ds is region locked, a US 3ds will work with US games

for hack, if you don't know much, you need to read a lot of things,
to keep it simple: if your 3ds firmware is above 4.5 you can forget the hack for some months, and don't ask a ETA

First off you need to have a 3ds Console with a firmware between the range of 4.1-4.5 ( I've read some recommended 4.5) Anything higher cannot be hacked at the moment and Yes on the current supported firmware Gateway provided 2.0B1 you can play MH4.

i can help what i can

first things first, is your 3ds firmware 4.5 or lower?
if thr answer is no, you can stop searching, the 3ds is not "hackable" with a firmware higher than 4.5 (doesn't mean it will not be on future)

then you need to purchase a 3DS flash cart

there are about 3-4 cards

the one i recommend is: gateway 3ds (site: http://gateway-3ds.com/ )

the others are clones of gateway 3ds, they are cheaper, but sometimes cheap means you have to pay an high price, if you know what i mean....

be aware, clones usually lose support very fast, the team responsible for them USUALLY just wants a quick way of making money and run... but i heard r4ids.cn team are pretty good at support

the "best" clone is: r4i gold 3ds deluxe edition, (site: http://www.r4ids.cn/r4ids-e.htm )

then there is 2 other clones which people here really don't recommend which are:

3ds link ( site: http://www.3dslink.com/ )

and orange 3ds, i dont know anything about this last one, i think its a fail clone...
