goHANmem 1.01 Beta1 - English translated

Code:
SELECT+RIGHT = Open goHANmem
LEFT/RIGHT   = Move Cursor
UP/DOWN      = Change Digits
L/R          = Select Page
Circle       = Detect Range
Select       = Switch Range
Square       = Next
Triangle     = Previous
Start        = Execute

Info:

As many might know, games allocate more than one memory block where our
desired value might be. Searching or changing inbetween might freeze or crash
the game/psvita (like PS3 - Netcheat/3DS - NTRDebugger).

To prevent this, press before first run O to detect ranges (start/stop), you can
switch them by pressing select. Work only with memory related to the game!!!

Example:

(001/011) = 11 different ranges, usualy if you found one value for
your game, all other will be in the same range.

Download: ZS

I've done only a mere Translation, all credits for this tool goes to: 一粒米饭07

Thanks, worked like a charm for DoAx3, used it to successfully edit $ in game.

How do I go about using them? Cheat Engine?
1. Decrypt your save data.
2. transfer the save to your computer.
2a. make a backup of your save in another location.
3. open a hex editor, and open the save you just transferred.
4. go to the addresses listed in the post
5. modify the existing values at those addresses.
6. save the file and retransfer it to your psvita.
7. re-import the save either via save manager or rincheat.

Is this where? What values do I edit here? This is the offset for GP. How would I go about maxing it out?

Then there's double values like these:
Low Quality Plastic
0x0002C38E
0x000C93FC
these confuse me. Do I edit both?

The left on your program is the address. The top of your program is the location. So for your GP, you need to go to 19590 and for the first 3 (00, 01, 02) put in 98 96 7F.

For the plastic location, you go to C93FC, and put in 0F27.

Again, the layout that the poster put those specific codes in is for rincheat.

Wow, so can i just edit this in the Hex editor and import my save through Rin?

Is 0F27 for all plastics?

"I know it may be fairly obvious, but the other values in the save are..
high quality plastic 0xC9400
low quality hard plastic 0xC9402
hard plastic 0xC9404
high quality hard plastic 0xC9406"

and

"Adding on to this
Low Quality Plastic
0x0002C38E
0x000C93FC
Regular Plastic
0x00023286
0x000C93FE"

is what I'm going off of. Sorry for all the questions. i'm trying to understand this process so I can eventually be a pipe instead of a mule.

I'm just trying to understand how you guys are able to see the value of, say, the quantity of plastic in hex form and identify it.

1. Yes, just throw your save in a hex editor and try it out. Then reimport using Rincheat.
2. 0F27 is 9999.
3. I posted the other locations for those. Plug in 0F27 at those locations.
4. Again, Low Quality Plastic is @ 0xC93FC, and Regular Plastic is @ 0xC93FE. See a pattern?

Ah so I could use 0F27 for all the plastic locations. Sorry if I'm a little slow.
And obviously unsynonymous values like GP have a different code value. I didn't notice the 0F27 in the original post or when I was coming the thread, but it's not like that would've helped my confusion, thus I thank you.

You can put 0F27 at the GP location, and you'll have 9999 GP. But you want more than that, I assume, so you put in 98 96 7F, which from hex to decimal goes to 9999999.

Ah, I see. So those are value codes that if you could get 999999 you could input the value for that.

I'm noticing that I'm switching bytes a lot to locate offsets.

Btw, any way to identify the difference between offset and value I input?

Normally when you want to hack a game, you take down some values, dump the save/ram, and start digging.

In this case you're just going to dump your save and search for those values in in your save, via hex editor. Say your current value for Hard Plastic was something like 5000 (1388), but you wanted 9999 (270F). You would start searching for that value (88 13), and change it with 0F 27, save your edits, load the save and check to see the changes.

Why do we search backwards?

Is that a reason for that?

Also, when I go into 2 byte the value is fine for 0F 27, but when I go into bigger bytes like, say, 4, the value goes 0F 27 0F 27. Is this fine?
No. You need to convert whatever number you want to use into hex. 270F270F is 655304463. Much too high. Can we continue this in PM's please?

I was unable to work out the unlockables on both of those games. They use some strange features / numbering system to enable the items / unlockable items. If anyone wants to spend more time, go for it.

As always, more to come !
