So i got my dsi and i had the r4i...i know its crappy, but then my dumb neighbor downloaded the update(the one that stops the r4i from working) what do i do? is there a new update i need for either ds or r4i, or should i get a new flashcart. if so which one is the best? (price is no problem)

Go to one of the countless threads of which DSi cart to buy. And also, for future reference, NEVER get anything with "R4" written on it. My suggestion would be for you to get either the iEDGE or the Acekard 2i if you have access to a DS or DS lite (to update it if it gets blocked by a future DSi update), or the M3i Zero or the Supercard DSONEi if you don't have access to an older DS.

Now I shall be e noob and say that r4 or not bader than any other DS cart like ds one or so as lone as it is working right ?? I have both dstt and Ds one but as lone as the card work right.

all of them work the same way but some has just little more conent but they all do the same right ??

There are a tons of different R4i's. Such as the Hyper R4i, Ultra R4i, R4i RTS, and others. Now stfu and get your facts straight first.

Get an M3i Zero, they are very good.

Especially with the qaud-boot. And I do not think it has any firmware that completely take out the cart. (as in make u buy a new one.)
