Gaming Help:Zotac GTX 1050 ti 2gb Dropping frames after a couple of minutes

I got a Zotac GTX 1050 2gb and if I open up any game itll go from 60fps to 20-30 fps (in game and even in menus) after around 5 minutes
Even with emulators like Dolphin

any help is appreciated

this is with only chrome running

Why would you show it with only Chrome running...? Play some games and show the temps during that.

Heres running Black ops 2 the most i saw the gpu temp go to was 41

It's not the temps then... does this happen regardless of in-game settings? Try switching them up. 2GB is rather low so a lot of games will lag if you have settings like texture quality too high.

Yes, games set on the lowest settings will still have bad fps. Ive tried that.

i could play with a stable 60fps but in around 5-10 mins it goes to 25fps out of nowhere
in pc games and emulators

I mean. Can you see if you could change Windows settings for power management, and chose the "best performances" profile?

oh. Ill check.

EDIT: Checked and it was set to balanced. Changed to high performance.

Try downloading MSI Afterburner and checking the logs to see if anything else appears off, like CPU/GPU usage maxed or sudden temp spikes. And if that shows up empty, make sure your drivers are updated.
