Hey guys,

I am fairly new here and so far ive just been reading around.
Two weeks ago i got myself a psp 2000 and followed the instructions here to get it to 6.60 pro cfw

But the outside of the PSP was damaged and i didnt like it.
Picked up some PSP 2000s today that were sold as defective (broke screen) but looked very nice. No scratches etc.
So i put the screen of my old 2000 in one of these and it all works fine.
However, the system is running on 6.31 and some kind of CFW as all the icons are changed aswell.
I tried running the 6.60 OFW update but it gives me an error code.
So i figured i at least need to uninstall the current CFW.
I have absolutely no idea how to do so or how to remove as i have no clue what CFW is installed either.

What can i do?
With a bit of googlin ive seen some 6.35 PRO B which runs on 6.31 but when i try to open it it says FW not supported.
I figured then it might be some kind of HEN but i have no clue.

Does any of you got some advice how to fix this? i would very much like to install 6.60 OFW then CFW.

Just follow the following steps
1. Download the PSP OFW 6.35 here, just scroll down and click the one that says PSP 1000/2000/3000
2. Download Chronoswitch Downgrader from here, click the one beneath Update2
3.Plug in your PSP and extract the OFW to X:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE. X refers to the letter of your PSP's drive
4. Extract Chronoswitch Downgrader to X:/PSP/GAME. Again, X refers to the letter of your PSP's drive
5. Run Chronoswitch Downgrader
6. Follow the onscreen instructions
7. It will then run the 6.35 OFW update file
8. Follow the onscreen instructions
9. If you follow everything correctly you should have the 6.35 OFW installed
10. Download PSP 6.61 from here or your country's official Sony Website
11. Extract it to X:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE. X refers to the letter of your PSP's drive. If prompted to replace, choose the replace option
12. Run the update on your PSP
13. Download 6.61 ME CFW from here

14. Extract it to X:/PSP/GAME. X refers to the letter of your PSP's drive.
15. Run the 6.61 ME Update file from here
16. Follow the onscreen instructions
17. Your PSP should be hacked and good to go. If you have any problems don't be afraid to send me a message.
