So I'm trying to set up Sneek to load an emunand of from my sd card so I can install lots of channels on it from this guide https://sites.google.com/site/completesg/how-to-use/sneek/setup/compiling-the-source
everything went fine until I had to download the sneek source step 6 to be precise

    6. Downloading SNEEK source.
    • Type in the command prompt and press enter
Is there an alternative way to do this cause It just wont download the file ???

It's much easier to use ModMii to build the NEEK kernel. No compiling required.

Compiling from source also requires some tools that aren't in the old Google Code repository and are difficult to track down now.

Download ModMii, run it, then select "S" for SNEEK. :)

Can you start Neek by another mean, such as Neek2o Channel or Homebrew Channel?

There's a regular homebrew app called nSwitch that you can use, too, or the bootmii files work if you have it installed.

What setup are you using? Check if all the files are on the right places, your devices are correctly formatted and you are not using a 4k sector HDD.

Your nand files need to be in "/nands/directoryName", too.

Plus I think it requires MBR/FAT32 as first partition and primary. (I run mine from SD card.)

On SD Card, I highly suggest formatting it with SD Formatter instead of using default formatting options: https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/

Choose your card, click Option > Format Size Adjustment ON and format. Erase format is not needed.

I suggest using ModMii and typing S (Sneek Installation) then 3 (All above: Recommended for first time sneek users). You will need your serial number. Use the commandline version, not the gui version of Modmii. Additionally you can point your sneek folder in USB Loader GX and make a full dump (Extract NAND to EmuNAND) of the real NAND into Sneek.

There's a "ModMii" and "ModMiiSkin". The CLI one is the first one.

I use a 16GB SD card as well. All of my homebrew apps as well as my neek dump are on it. All game disc images (and Nintendont saves) are on a 1TB USB HDD.

I use USB Loader GX and have EmuNAND saves redirected to "sd:/nands/save/" and WiiWare/VC in "sd:/nands/channel/". EmuNAND saves are "Partial" and Channels are "Full". Loader settings is configured to run all NAND titles as EmuNAND except the few that require NEEK. All Wii disc titles except Metroid Prime Trilogy and Zelda: Skyward Sword are configured to save to EmuNAND.

I didn't use the DI option when building the neek2o kernel as there are only one or two Wii disc games that need to be run in NEEK mode.
