    Hi All,

very new to this. I have downloaded a few games for the DS lite from another site, most of them seam to be working however a few 3060 Hotel Giant, 3212 - 100 Classic Books and 2607 Driving Theory test don't seem to work.

They all came up with an error code " Rom loading Failed load rom errorcode=7, please reset system) - I have looked around and saw something about an arm7 fix patch. I have tried this on the Hotel Giant game and the Driving theory, the menus have now loaded but it is asking me for the original disk to be insterted.

Has anyone any ideas on how to solve this?

    Thanks

Whooaa boy - Before downloading/using the latest firmware - Have you checked that you don't have a 'clone' DSTT ??
If you have a clone & try the latest firmware you'll can destroy your Flash card 'cos it contains a fake-killer-code in it

Best thing to do is follow the first part of http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=140333 & use the 'disabled-fake-killer-code' first to see if that fixes the problem (It will use the Latest firmware - but with a hacked 'File selector')

If it does - & you're sure you have a genuine DSTT THEN use the official TTMenu.dat
If it doesn't - then the problem may not necessary be the firmware.

Maybe you had a corrupted download since I found this article @ http://www.fixya.com/support/t1613863-load_rom_errorcode_7
