Hello,

I'm working on a badly water damaged Switch. Some of the components have completely corroded off the board. Can anybody help with identifying the missing components?

1) The green circled components. Most likely capacitors. Are they even needed?

2) The blue circled component. Does anyone know what the value of this missing component is?

3) The red circled area. This component was missing, but shows up on other photos of the logic board I've seen on the internet. Is this a necessary component?

Thank you for any help you can give.

This is the worst damaged switch I've ever seen. Are you sure it's worth fixing? Did you already reflow the chips?

It is in pretty bad shape, but the damage is contained to a small area, and it does show some signs of life. It's more of a practice / challenge project to see if I can get it working again. Unfortunately, I don't have a donor board to measure the components myself.

Will measure on my testing board in 1 hour
