Hacking Question Help with backups?

Hello, I'm trying to backup my Zelda BOTW cartridge to xci so I can install it with zerotwoxci. On atmosphere.0.8.2 it crashes when it's almost done and on reinx (latest) ,it says something along the lines of it being a bad dump and that an nca is corrupted or that some kip thing might need to be deleted .

I've tried dumping on both cfw and used gcdumptool and waindump, also with and without certs.

I've tried searching the forums and no luck. (maybe I don't know what to search) any and all help would be greatly appreciated

Although I know it is pretty much WAIN cart dumper, have you tried SX Dumper?

That doesn't even start, it just goes back to the homebrew menu. Is it only meant to work on the SX OS?

If that's the case, that's really stupid since its just WAIN cart dumper.

Anyway, have you checked if the SD card is fake or not? I recommend using something like FakeFlashTest.

I'm 99% sure it's real and I don't really want to test it since is a 200gb card. I purchased it from my local Walmart and it's SanDisk brand. Is it possible there's another step I'm missing? Does it need to be decrypted or anything like that? I've been able to install other XCI's, just not the ones I'm trying to dump myself

No, test if its your SD card's fault. There's absolutely no way it could be anything else that's at fault.

To look at it another way, if you never test if the SD card isn't fake, that will always remain as a possible reason its not working.
