Homebrew Help using Checkpoint 3DS

Hey! I really want to use Checkpoint but I'm not sure if even my 3ds is capable.

I have an Old 3DS XL and bootstrap (i think?) hack. I mean, i can run for sure CFW and such.

Followed a guide to use Checkpoint and installed v3.7.4-ae5cb57.

But it gives this error: 0xD88007FA
Description: rosalina not found on this system, an update cfw is required to launch checkpoint

and ummm i thought i had rosalina when i manually updated luma. And don't know how to update a CFW or what it is even talking about.

Help please ?

When you turn on the console and press and hold select. it should bring up a page with current luma version shown on it. May you tell us which one is current?

Luma3DS v7.1

This is something im also having trouble with, as i tried to manually update to the newest which is 10 or whatever and just coping and pasting the file didn't cut it .-.

Really confused by all of this

put the latest luma on your sd card root get it from its github then try again if it still doesnt work you might have a old or broken checkpoint go to checkpoint github to get the latest of it

I did the luma thing! in the github, copied and pasted to sd card and still didnt update from 7 to whatever it is now.

and the checkpoint, yeah i also got from github

7.1 means you have to run the updating b9s to v1.3. And then follow the finalizing steps.

Ok so now im at this step:

Section II - Installing boot9strap

1. Launch Luma3DS chainloader menu by holding (Start) during boot
   
   But when i hold start during boot it doesnt boot luma3ds but GodMode explorer, what am i doing wrong?

Actually. Do you have the safeinstaller as a second firm in luma payloads?

Yeah! I have in the "payloads" folder godmode and safe installer, do i move momentarily the godmode?

Ya. remove gm9 for now while you do this.

just did, but it still loads godmode T_T when booting while start is pressed

just tried that guide as well with the files and everything, and it still boots godmode T_T what i am i doing wrongggg
