Hacking [HELP] Unlock PS3 OFW v3.41

Hello!

I've one PS3 with OFW v3.41 .
I used PS3Break dongle to unlock it, but now i lost the dongle and want to unlock it with a CFW.

Could I download the latest REBUG here: https://rebug.me/ and install it following those simple guide: or have i do something else to install it? Could i do it with my OFW 3.41 or i have to update it to OFW 3.55 and after follow the guide to install? If i need to update to OFW 3.55, where could i download them, please?

Is rebug recommended or you suggest another one?
Is rebug the best unlock method now? Or u suggest another one better?

I've already one multiman installed with some games, but i can't play because says that emulations isn't enabled. If i unlock my ps3 with new rebug, multiman stills works or i will need to update/reinstall it? if so, could u tell me the guide's link, please?
What about my games already instaled on ps3 hdd. Can I see then on the new multiman like as it shows up on older?

I recommend fresh start and linux. Format your hdd with a pc, place 3.55 ofw recovery setup to usb and install to ps3. Then install latest rebug just like normal ps3 update via usb. Dont ever connect to internet.

Not necessarily. I don't updated to 3.55 OFW from 3.41 at all. I just used the latest REBUG CFW from 3.41 without a problem. Been used it for over 7 years.

No, don't need to update to 3.55.. you can just do it with your OFW 3.41 with the latest REBUG without a problem. That's what I did over 7 years ago. No problem.

Easy:

REX: Rebug Custom Firmware which is for CEX
D-REX: Rebug Custom Firmware which is for DEX

Grab REX since I am using it for over 7 years. ENJOY!

Im running now REBUG 4.82.2 REX EDITION fresh install.

I noticed that now multiman don't load. I got the error: 80010017 => Fixed installing new multiman from here: https://store.brewology.com/multiman.php

And my BackUp Manager don't works too. It loads, shoes me just the title Backup Manager and the rest all black screen, but don't have any option.

Just one question: if i load the game thats in hdd from multiman, it cames back to xmb and i have to go to the game title and press X to play. Is possible load the game direct from new multiman? The old version its loads direct.
And the game tells me that have an update for the game. Could i update it or ill get trouble if i update the game? I didn't updated and it loads with suscess.

Ty! Im alrewady using multiMan. I'm pretty sure cobra is enabled too.

I'm using games from folder, not iso. Internal HD.

The " problem " not a problem for real, but for load the game i need one original bd inserted, load it in multiman, it will came back to xmb and after that ive to select to play the game. (BD disk is changed to the game tht i loaded on multiman).

Isn't possible to load the game direct from multiman and don't need use one bd inserted on ps3?
Tryied go to options and selected direct boot, but don't worked. It came back to xmb as always snif

The other think is that it tells me to update the game. Could i update it or not?

The folder ? Jeez. Thats the problem. I had that before but not anymore so I don't remember. Maybe google is your best bet for it. By the way, I am using ISO with an external HD.. It is so much better than folders.

Yes, you can update the game according to rebug firmware version only.

Isn't slow play from external hd? I tryied some games here, Red Dead Redemption, Test Drive Unlimited 2 and some others, all of them lagged too much, i've to install then on internal to run...

No, doesn't happened to me at all. Maybe you are using folder ? I am using ISO for external hd and worked perfectly for over 7 years. No issues for me.
