ROM Hack [HELP] SNES VC Decrypting doesn't work

im just glad i got my LTTP inject to fully work I would have skinned the cart also if i knew where it was on template.

Do anyone know what other roms are fully working on inject instead of obscure stuff like lufia lol

Got Zombies Ate My Neighbor working. I just don't know how to make custom banners like yours.

Screw you. I did it like that so it shows the artwork in the scroll bar on the homepage, ya know, like most uploaders on that site...

Get Packhack and Ohana from asia81s template thread.
Decrypt Banner.bin with his Packhack
creates a new folder
Open Banner.cfgx in Ohana (not rebirth) in the texture tab
Export the texture as PNG edit it and import it and Save
do it for the rest of files also
Open Packhack and use banner tool again and repack
Copy the new banner bin it makes over in the EXEFS folder overwriting old one.

anyway, I tried building a .3ds then converting it into .cia but I get an error on load. this only happened after changing the title Id and banner/Icon

you changed the title id too much it gets angry

im using the unpack bat script from the GB VC inject thread on already decrypted cias

Well I was able to run the inject without the change.

It does and I made a cia of it. but I guess if you are going to do it I wont then :/ I'll just get it posted to that chaotic site

@nfan2, thanks for the info on extracting a cryptofixed snes vc cia. I decrypted the non-cryptofixed version with decrypt9 and then tried extracting with @Asia81 PackHack but it would not extract romfs. As soon as I did it with the cryptofixed cia it extracted perfectly. Now to try my hand at snes injections. Thanks again.

Trying all these out is amazing- it's so much better than retro arch for these reasons in my opinion:

Sound!!! I love snes music and sound effects - something retro arch struggles with and catsfc plus has fps drops and still sound is off. This is snes perfect!


Speed!! FZero is insanely smooth!!! Zero fps drop while juggling perfect sound and mode 7.


Control: take fzero for instance- in retro arch the racer is all over the track! It seems like pressing left or right sends the racer far too much to the sides. Now try the VC port- MUCH tighter and easier to race!

Optional: If you want, you can also edit the TitleID of your game.
Open your DecryptedExHeader.bin in HxD, and check the Offsets on the Left, you have the TitleID on the right:
