Do you know how we can modify the code of the Miiverse Applet a bit?
It's freaking hard to modify an existing app (HBL, any CIA etc. that is not an Applet) to run it from the Miiverse Applet Icon.

Ummm.... Well I know how to modify the .app(s), and the .tmd. I am not very good at code (considering I don't know what to use to edit it). Do you use edit the hex code?

You might be able to mount the .app(s) in GodMode9 and edit the .code, and stuff like that.

EDIT: YOu would have to extract the files, edit them, and rebuild the .app (but I don't know if that will help)

Didn't work for HomeMenu itself. Rebuild the HomeMenu as CIA, encrypted it again and installed it to SysNAND.

Yes, you need to dump, modify, rebuild and reinstall the HomeMenu to modify the Miiverse Icon.

The Miiverse Icon is located in:
"HomeMenu/romfs/launcher_LZ.bin/IcnCave_20.bclim"
and
"HomeMenu/romfs/launcher_LZ.bin/IcnCave_21.bclim"

wtf? pk3DS is a tool to edit Files from Pokemon Games. Obviously it wouldn't work on this file.
launcher_LZ.bin is a darc-archive and the Files you need to edit are ETC_A4 - compressed BCLIM Files.
With this infos you should be able to edit the files. If not.. you shouldn't do it then

I think that it might not work because the home menu is different than any other app. IDK.

(just an speculation) but you could try to remove Miiverse completely, instead of changing it to a launcher.
and then replace it. (Just an Idea)
(btw, I Barely know coding etc, but I know some stuff bout 3ds)

sure I deleted the Miiverse app completely. Makes no sense.
It shows the Icon and trying to launch it causes a Error exception

Is it possible to completely reprogram the Home Menu to accept the HBL as the Miiverse replacement.

EDIT: I am very new to coding such things. So please don't bash me for being a noob.
