sure I deleted the Miiverse app completely. Makes no sense.
It shows the Icon and trying to launch it causes a Error exception

So even though you deleted the app, the applet (home menu icon) is still there?

The icon is built into the Home Menu... You would have to replace the icon in the Home Menu with an invisible icon to remove it.

Even if you make the Icon invisible, clicking on it will still try to boot Miiverse.

Thats why I want to replace the Miiverse Applet with another one.
The problem is, that I don't know how to change the Title ID the HomeMenu tries to boot when you're clicking on that Icon.

Instead of doing this, have you even tried to set the Title ID of MiiVerse to your custom applet?

I haven't found a way to do it.

I guess in the code.bin of the HomeMenu. But I was unable to find it there.

but why exactly can't you just launch miiverse (offline) and then let Rosalina use that app to launch HBL.

There's no "immediate" title ID hardcoded in the code of the Home Menu, but I did found the part where it looks what to launch according to which of the five icons you press, but It seems like it's not just an application jump like FBI does.

Is it possible to make the MiiVerse icon launch H&S?
It could be a great idea to inject Homebrew launcher wrapper to H&S' original icon and launch H&S (the untouched one) through MiiVerse icon.
