Hi i am planning to use The Region changer on the ModMii program to a US 4.3 region from a Japanese (4.3) one. The main reason i want to do this is because the language of the menu in my console is in Japanese and there is no option to change it to English on its system settings.

So my questions are:
1. Is the region changer on the ModMii compatible to any kind of Wii (Mine is an RVL-001 Wii.) and any kind for firmware version (4.3J)?
2. What are the disadvantages of using a region changer on my Wii?
3. After changing region is it safe to do a system reset/format?
4. After changing region is it safe to restore a backup of my nand using bootmii? (The backup is from when i haven't region changed yet.)
5. After changing region is it safe to redo the soft-modding of my Wii? (Just in case)
6. What should and should i not do after changing my region?

1) yes, but the version of any region Changer included in modmii does not currently support wiimote plus remotes, if this is an issue for you, use this version https://gbatemp.net/threads/help-test-new-tools-for-modmii-please.533855/

Note that it's just during the region change, afterwards games and other things will continue to support both kinds of remotes

2) just the risk of bricking during the change, but as long as u follow the guide closely, the only real risk is losing power at a critical moment, and even then if u have bootmii installed as boot2 you're fine

3) yes

4) yes

5) yes, it's actually recommended to reinstall things like priiloader which would have been uninstalled during the region change process

6) don't run over your wii with a truck... seriously this happened to someone I know I real life, lol
I answered you in the modmii thread
