Hacking Help needed (Urgent)

Right so i am new to this whole ROM firmware thing and i went to put the TTMenu on my R4 (original 1st series one).

I followed this guide - http://www.pspmyspace.com/techstuffs/nds-dstt.html

Now all i get is a message on black screen when i load saying "Could not find DS_menu.dat"

Should i re-name the TTMenu.dat?

I really need help.

pull out the tf card an your cart blow on them put them back in and good to go,hope this helps

I don't know, but I'm also having trouble, I have been putting oranges in my egg slicer when I try to slice them.

Get yourself an R4 firmware from the official site, kid.

Right i have taken it out and "blown" it until my face turned blue, and still no joy.

And i wish to have a firmware which allows Pokemon Platinum and other games such as that to be played, and the original R4 kernels from the R4DS site don't allow them to be played.

Ever heard of a thing called "Patch"?

The cards use two different firmwares. You cannot get it to work. Simple as that. Wait for an update, use cheats if they're available, or use YSmenu, or patches, which I dislike and avoid.

here is a guide to installing ysmenu on the r4 all you have done is loaded the dstt firmware onto your card which wont work it needs to be altered with ysmenu first

Right i have successfully put the YS menu on my R4

Oh yeah ii feel like i have achieved something lol.

I will test it with games now.
