Hi, i had my Switch in my bag with a not so well sealed bottle of sparkling water. water cames out and soaked my Switch for a good hour until i noticed.

I immediatly opened my Switch and both joycon disconecting batteries, then dried out all water i can.

Left joycon and Switch survived but right joycon now has issues...

It's not connecting physicaly and i have a such massive drift on the stick that i can't calibrate it

what can i do ?
what should i do ?

I read on internet that sparkling water is acidic with a 4.5 pH...

Acidity is not the problem, it's corrosion caused by the water itself.
And since water is slightly conductive, some remaining droplets might already have cause some short circuit.

You can try to take the joycon apart completely and soak all the parts in isopropyl alcohol (99% pure alcohol without water).
That should drive out most of the water.
Problem with the drift is probably due to moist in the analog stick.
Just order a new stick for a few bucks and replace it.
It's almost impossible to get those sticks open for cleaning.
I tried a few times but the metal clips always seem to break.

You can also give the joycon connector on the Switch a gently cleaning with a soft toothbrush and some some alcohol.

Been getting many water damaged switches in. 91%+ ipa with a toothbruh. Clean, dry, inspect. Repeat until it looks nice and clean but don't forget to dry before testing.

i dont think they care.
yeah they say they do...

but if your in north america they actually might not- it's so routine for them at this point the page dedicated to creating a ticket has become SUPER streamlined. I've had to do it so many times and only ever paid once...the very first time...BEFORE the lawsuit started.

When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
