Help my sd card won't show up no matter what I do

Ok, so my sd card won't show up on my pc. Tried LITERALLY everything I could but nothing. Maybe my card reader is broken but I've been trying to mod my 3ds for long by now. I might need tips..
(Also is it possible to add games from your pc to 3ds?)

There are many ways you can tell if the reader is connected or not.

* Look for the device in the "Device Manager". Right-click on the device, and select 'Properties' and it will tell you if its fully functioning.

* Type in the search box at the 'Start Menu': "Create and format hard disk partitions" then select the item that comes up, the SD card partition should show up. If its unallocated or RAW, then you will need to re-format it as the card may be corrupted.
