Gaming Help in Harvest Moon Island of happiness

Okay 4 things about it............

1.I know the controls are terrible but I play it anyways.
2.I have no clue how to unlock the buildings and upgrading them.
3.Im having trouble upgrading the diner and cafe and roads etc.....
4.Can anyone make like a guide or a link to one that tells u how to upgrade and unlock the buildings (Ps i did google it)
I would appreciate it

The first provides colorful, image based guides with large accuracy.

The second has technical, text based guides and start walkthroughs so you should have no problems.

I keep telling you, I got so rich and successful and married at the start of the 2nd year with those guides. By summer, I unlocked tons, so quickly. Gamefaqs is nothing compared to the ones I posted.
