How do i water the plant in the middle

If you can't get to something, you probably can't water it.

That's why I always used to plant things like:

XXX
XXX
XEX

X = seeds/plants, E = Empty.

Although, I think I recall that you could walk over plants in Rune Factory. Haven't given this game a try yet, but if you can't walk over to it, wait until you get a watering can upgrade.

In the first game you had to wait until you could buy a sprinkler, and even that was useless for getting the damn middle plant.

ok thx this is my first harvest moon game i played runefactory though.

someone in gamespot told me that i can use a spirit to water it how do i obtain a spirit?

Not sure about the spirit in this game, so far for me they only say hi and that it... However you were able to use them in Harvest Moon DS..

Does anyone know how can you determine what the min of sunlight and water each crops needed without looking at a faq??

To my knowledge, there is no way, except the crop's description (I think) gives a hint at how much water/sunlight is needed.

I don't think you can get actual numbers without looking at a FAQ, though.

They are called monsters not spirits. You befriend them in caves.

In RuneFactory, you can water all 6 squares but in most, if not all, Harvest Moon games, you need to make that U-like shape or make an O-shape.

And for DLSH's post: He's talking about Island of Happiness, not Rune Factory
