Hardware Help identifying a missing component on Nintendo DS Lite motherboard

I have a Nintendo DS Lite that needed some repairs, but it has an issue with the screens. The image doesn’t display correctly unless I press down firmly on the area near the buttons. After inspecting the motherboard, I noticed that a component seems to be missing in that region.

I believe this missing component might be causing the problem, but I’m unsure what it is or what its value might be. I was considering bridging the solder pads as a temporary fix, but I’m worried this could cause a short circuit or further damage.

If anyone has experience with DS Lite repairs or knows what component belongs in this spot, I’d really appreciate your help! I’ve attached pictures of the motherboard for reference.

If the missing component was at fault the problem would not be solved by applying pressure.
Usually, an issue that is solved by applying pressure indicates cracked solder balls on a BGA component, or otherwise bad solder joints.
