hmmmm sounds like what a9lh does......on the off chance that someone already installed a9lh on them try putting a SD card with a9lh files in the console and see if it boot, if not it sounds like they require additional hardware/software to function, iirc the consoles "liberated" from the lourve also required a special SD and game card inserted to boot, it may be something similar
afaik the normal store demos that dont run on battery will not do anything unless plugged in, so the fact they come on and turn off suggest that there is something running and deciding not toboot up as something else is wrong or missing (same as what the early a9lh builds were designed to do if the a9loaderhax file was not found)
