Could anyone help me?
Whenever I try to load IOS Downgrader using the HBC, the Wii restarts.

I placed the IOS Downgrader in the SD card, F:>apps>Ios Downgrader> renamed the file to boot.dol

I also tried using AnyRegion, and after updating ro 3.2, there were a set of errors.
Didn't mind them, rebooted the Wii, and the version is still 3.4U under Wii Settings.

Thanks in advance.

Say, this might be a stupid question..
But once the backup launcher is installed, is it safe to update to 3.4 again?

Not that I really need it or anything.. But I do prefer to keep my stuff updated

I do suppose the answer is yes.. Well, I'll try it out later today..
Just had to rebuy Lego Star Wars because the disc was too scratched to read, would prefer it to be the last time I loose an original because of wear and tear

Same problem here. The wii simply restarts when attempting to launch the app

Won't do any good, if it can't run

I think I know why.. These require you to install a cios first..
I do have HBC, but the cIOS installers all fail, probably due to fw 3.4

Is there no way to downgrade?

Found a way..
To others who can't do this.. Read this

Here is the full answer:

1. Download the Wii Backup Disc. (google is your friend)
2. Use WiiScrubber to extract "IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad" from "Partition:1 - Update > _sys >"
3. Use Wad Manager 1.3 to install this wad (1.2.1 works also)
4. Download http://yhxgjq.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pPv-...ot.dol?download (dave's modified version of WadMan to run on IOS16 )
5. Copy the file to: (SD card drive letter):\apps\wadman16\
6. Use GOOGLE to hunt down "cios_fix.wad"
7. Download Waninkoko's "IOS Downgrader"
8. Use WADMAN16 to install CIOS_FIX.WAD
9. Use HBC to downgrade your IOS to whatever version you want. (WARNING!!!!!!!!!! ANYTHING THAT IS 2.X MAY BE DANGEROUS IF DOWNGRADER TRIES TO INSTALL IT, BECAUSE THE SYSTEM MENU FILE IS MISSING ON NINTENDO SERVERS!!!!!!!!)

sure hope that I didn't break any rules by only giving file names
