I am currently on sysnand 4.x and cow 12.1.0 AMS M.19.5lE. I am using Pegascape and I have the loader installed on my home menu. I would like to update sysnand to the latest version to play Animal Crossing as well as updating my CFW to the latest version. What steps do I need to take to achieve these goals?

Edit: Is my Sysnand dirty from having Pegascape on it?

Edit 2: Pegascape runs through something injected on my news app on sysnand.

You can't update your system sysnand if you rely on Pegascape as entry point.

If I switch my entry point can I update my sysnand? Would my sysnand be considered dirty now that pega was installed on it? is RCM jig still the meta when it comes to entry points?

If you boot Atmosphere on Sysnand it is consider dirty, but then again they don't really go after people just running Atmosphere on sysnand alone without any pirated games.

Wouldn't Haku33 clean my sysnand? I have never ran a pirated game on sysnand. Is playing backups online still? Appreciate your help Hayato.

Think you be fine without haku33, it is not like pegascape is a CFW, it is just a CFW entrypoint. Since you had an unpatched unit, did you ever boot up hekate and made a nand backup?

There is a nand backup somewhere on my desktop, but it is a back up after already having pegascape installed.

I am seeing a section about backing up my firmware. I don't remember having done this in the past. I used a guide that looked like a wiki that was constantly being posted on here.

Is it still a guarantee ban if you play pirated games online?

Edit: I can't find anything on updating official firmware on the SysNAND. Is it just as simple as updating my switch through the Nintendo menu? Will updating sys firmware through Nintendo automatically get rid of the pegascape news article?

Yes if the nand is dirty (pirated game) you would get banned eventually.

If you do pirated games on emunand and online stuffs on sysnand you be fine.

Is AutoRCM still a thing? Would you recommend buying a payload loader or getting a cable and loading through computer?
