Gaming HELP! friends Acus Lappy is down1

He tried to turn it on, and i started... but then it all died. now it wont turn on at all. He did the old take out the battery and let it sit for a while, and nothing.

Any ideas? i have a feeling it its the motherboard.

Or the power regulators,VRM's , Ether way laptops are hard to fix yourself warranty/RMA time.
