Hacking Help for updating acekard for dsi 1.4.U

The title says it all. I followed all of the steps, but when I try to update it on my DS Lite, it says "This Cartridge can't be updated". Has anyone ever experienced this before? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Is it an AceKArd 2 or AceKard 2i? Also are you trying the 1.4.1 update or the 1.4.3 update?

it's an Acekard2i. Im trying the 1.4.3 update

What's the exact name of the file you are using for the update? And what's the hardware id of the Acekard 2i? You can find it in the help menu in the firmware.

ak2ifw_update_3ds21_DSi143_onDSi_NO44.nds - the exact name of the file

And it writes:
Ak2i Firmaware Update (3DSV3)

Yes that means there is no way to update it and yes that does mean you will have to buy a new one.
