Homebrew Help Flashing Nand

So I hardbricked my old 3ds and needed to hardmod it. I just finished hardmod and was getting ready to flash nand. Plugged it in to computer and when i went to write my nand to it i get a write error. "An error occurred when attempting to write data to handle. Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified." and then the 3ds disconnects and i have to re plug in card reader to get it to pop up again. any ideas what the problem may be.

Could this be a problem with the card reader not being compatible. My micro sd card adapter was broken so i just used an old card reader and soldered right to the pins in the reader.

i could very well be wrong but yea i think the reader you used may have an issue .... i say again i very well could be wrong so definitely seek a second opinion on this lol

Could be a reader issue, or it may be that you haven't shorted the write protect pins so the reader cannot write to the nand, either short the write protection pins on the reader or stick a empty microsd adapter in the sd slot
