Homebrew Help fixing homescreen blank title and in-game crahses (ARM11 exception, data abort)

This is my first post, but I've been reading on here for ages. I've been struggling to resolve the above issue despite following these tutorials:

- quadruple reformat
- verified SD card using h2testw
- CTRTransfer to 11.5 using 3ds hacks guide
- CTRTransfer to 11.5 using TypeD9 guide

Any advice on resetting this? I have all my saves etc backed up.

The blank icon is your game card icon pip a game in and it will fill with the game 8n the slot

I've never used a game cartridge before. Possible to fix it without one? Is it evidence of corrupted database?

Yes, I assume it's not supposed to be there? I never noticed it before and then suddenly it was there.

Lol, so this whole time Ive been reformatting over and over and it's supposed to be there. Thanks for clearing this up for me.

Edit: So I may have celebrated prematurely. I'd assumed that random in-game arm11 exception crashes were related to some sort of database corruption related to that blank icon, but if that icon's supposed to be there then I'm not sure what the problem is. The crashes are still happening randomly in game and it's very annoying. Any suggestions @Shadow#1?

By the way, how do I view a .dmp file on macOS?
