hope someone can help me out with my modded Wii (wiikey / 3.1U) questions:
1. if i connect my wii to the internet, will my wii get bricked if i have a wiikey installed?
2. i know that updating my wii firmware to 3.3 is not recommended. but do i need to update my firmware to 3.2? which games have the 3.2 firmware?
3. when i inserted the iso game Samba de Amigo, it indicated a message asking me if i want to update my firmware but I should be aware that it might brick my wii if there are any modification done to my wii.
so anybody saw this messsage? how did you able to play the Samba de Amigo game withougt any firmware updates?

thanks!

1. - No, the wiikey is just a drive chip... it's safe.
2. - You only need to update to 3.2 if a game you want to play needs it. 3.3 isn't the end of the world either, it can just be tricky if you want to use homebrew and install wads.
3. - If the copy of Samba de Amigo you have is from the same region as your wii - ie NTSC-U if you are in the USA... then running the update is fine.

3 - if it's not from your region you should use brickblocker before you burn the iso. it will remove the update
