Hacking Help after updating to 8.1 with ChoiDujourNX

As the title says, updated to 8.1. I had been on 6.2 and was using ReINX. Put the new ReINX stuff on the card after updating now when I use Tegra it flashes to the ReINX splash screen, then flashes to Sept Atmosphere screen, then back to ReINX then goes black.

I had, originally, tried to switch to Atmosphere but it wouldn't load hbl in albums (plus said all games were corrupted), so had to use ReINX to get to hbl (and the games worked in ReINX).

Not really sure where to go, and there are so many conflicting posts and no real clear guide that I figured it's best to just ask here and save myself some sanity.

Also tried Atmosphere after, does the same with its splash screen. Same result.

Atmosphere, by default, requires you to hold the right shoulder button to launch the homebrew launcher, so it's not accidentally launched by someone trying to load the photos app. This can be changed in the config file.

I'd recommend switching to Atmosphere as a matter of troubleshooting. Make sure you're using the latest version of Atmosphere.

Thanks for the heads up on R. However, currently, I can't even get past the splash screen for ReINX or Atmosphere.

Am I missing something? Does Tegra not work on 8.1? If not, how do I push the payloads? I have all of Atmospheres, reinx, and kosmos zips on the card currently.

I don't know what you're trying to push through Tegra. Do the following:

1. Download the latest Atmosphere and put the files onto your SD card.
2. Download the signature patches and put them onto your SD card.
3. Download the latest fusee primary (next to Atmosphere on the release page) and use that with Tegra.

Thanks. I did each step, it's still doing the same thing though.

If you haven't already done so, you should remove all of the Atmosphere files from your SD card before putting the new ones over. You should also make sure you are using the following Atmosphere version exactly: atmosphere-0.9.1-master-241b8f46.

Deleted the atmosphere and sept folders, as well as hbmenu.nro then put them back on the SD card from that file (it was what I had been using). Put the patches in the atmosphere folder. Tried again. Sept splash, black, atmosphere splash, black, battery top left, black and remains there.

Is your SD card exFAT? If so, did you install 8.1.0 with the exFAT update?

Yes it is, and no I did the standard one. Do I need to switch to FAT32 then?

I put a 4gb FAT32 in and it loaded up. So should I use that FAT32 to install 8.1 exFAT instead and then switch back to my 200gb exFAT?

Yes I used ChoiDujourNX. I'm going to install the update with the FAT32 card for exFAT then report back. I assume it'll fix it, but just so the matter can be closed for anyone else that may run in to the same issue (when I was spending hours searching, people would just say it was fixed and give no other info and it became very frustrating)

Reinstalled 8.1 with exFAT selected this time from a different, FAT32, SD. Swapped back to my old one and everything is up and running.
