hello im a noob at emulating mame please help me

so im gonna be straight up i need step my step instructions on how to get vtech creativision working in mame i have the folder made but it refuses to boot up

i should mention i also have tried various roms and i have the bios

newest mame needs newest dumps of roms - there are older version of winmame or mame that used to work fine with big collections of dumps that where out there, so make sure to rule out if the dumps you a trying to use are old versions

where would i find newer rom dumps also im using the newest version of mame

mm - i don't know if we are allowed to talk about rom sites in this forum -

generally, the newest mame will tell you something is wrong with th dump yu are using, and as far as i know the newest dumps where made few years ago, so most of the ones you find should be the correct ones...

one thing for sure tho, google & duk duk are censoring search results, so, you will need to use alternatives
