I wanted to install a new OS on my PC, so I repartitioned my Wii HDD using Partition Wizard. I also made a backup of the games in my other HDD. After installing the new OS. I put everyrhing back where it belonged. Instead of using Wii Backup Manager to put the games back in my Wii HDD, I directly tried to move them using Explorer. After reaching 30%, the games would no longer move and explorer stopped responding. So, I restarted and used Wii Backup Manager to transfer games and it also got stuck at 30%. Then I used WBFS Manager and the same thing happened. Even ripping games from the Wii doesnt work. ANd I cant use my HDD anymore. If anyone is facing this problem or has faced it in the past, I would really like help on this problem.

look for a tool to test all sectors
and one to display "SMART" data

sorry cant suggest windows tool, use only linux
if you have one use badblocks (-vws) and smartctl
