I would love to try out the pal version for you.

Or just try it? It's literally just two icons with the border from the home menu. The Goomba launches a cart using RegionFOUR, and the Koopa launches the USA System Settings menu, which on other regions, your 3DS will just go black until you force shut down. It's a fantastic proof of concept.

I really was clueless what this exactly does till I saw a video about that badge center. Actually a nice concept! Gonna try it out soon :3
Edit: Works fine, expect the system settings because I have a EUR 3ds.

You have to be on the koopa and then go to the left to actually go to the spiny. Except of that it does work

yep works fine boots games region free and also goes to system settings

Try making an app that injects custom badges. I mean, custom themes work, why wouldn't custom badges? Even if it is JPN 3DS only, it would still be really cool.

I do have plans for a icon download system, yes.

The scrolling is just a huge mess, moving left past the koopa will get you to the spiny. I REALLY need to organize that code better.

Neat idea, but pretty barebones.

A small request, could we have a .3dsx file that just launches the Nintendo 3DS settings app directly from the Homebrew Launcher? I think that would be really helpful.

maybe unrelated but your virtual console looks different than mine, how can I change it?
