@Kohmei,do I need to install haxchi 2.x before Haxchi direct (like CBHC) or can I install over an unmodified vc game (in my case Brain Training Eur)?

There is no games that can't be installed with this method + CFW, so i don't know what games you're talking about x).

Right. i was using the regular brazil method without cfw so all the games I could not install using that method I put on Loadiine. I tried to read up on cfw but didnt really understand it with the fw.img file them mocha and coldbooting and all that so I left it alone but this looks way easier as soon as I understand how to get the homebrew launcher on ithe home menu I can replace regular haxchi with this one.

Can I use this even if I've modified the sys_prod.xml for RegionHax with wupclient or will it brick the console?

I saw that too, and thought that perhaps FIX94 noticed the same thing as Kohmei and incorporated the new features.

Either way, I just logged in to say thanks to @Kohmei for this. I was also looking for a non-CB Haxchi that persists better than the v1.4 Haxchi I had installed, and this fit the bill. I don't see any need to update to Haxchi v2.4 for now at least.

Much appreciated @Kohmei!

(Of note: it's important not to have a Haxchi config.txt on your SD card from a previous install of Haxchi. I fought with that for a minute until I realized why the new install was still using the simple signature patcher.)

isnt this essentially dimoks sigpatch2sysmenu ?
The improvements to Hachi's built in system menu patcher have a couple bonuses over dimok's sigpatch2sysmenu, most notable being reload support. It's also built in, so it's faster than loading the elf

Regardless, the above posts are correct. This is more or less redundant at this point now that Fix94 incorporated the new CBHC improvements into the original Haxchi.

Not exactly. Yours still has the benefit of not having any buttons that could be pressed to change how it boots.

Haxchi wont patch my sig and I can't install VC games with WUP. Why wont Haxchi work?!
Details. What's not working?

That's like driving your car into the shop and dropping it off, throwing the keys to the tech and saying "it's not working. Fix it"

I load up Haxchi holding b and it returns me back to the home menu shortly after start up. I then go to Haxchi again and open WUP Loader Y mod and go to install VC games to my USB drive and it give me an error saying ticket is not valid (downloaded with Wii U Helper on windows). The ticket and all the files are in the folder. I am assume Haxchi is not patching my sigs. I've had this problem for a while. Anyone know a fix?

Might be a dumb question but are you using the latest HaxChi?

@Kohmei:
Thanks for this. I will try this out as I'm using Haxchi in most cases for nothing but simple signature patcher.
I'm fine with tapping the HBL Channel icon after using Haxchi direct as I'm not using the HBL that often anymore.
Does it still have a splash screen? Even if it is only visible for a few seconds? If yes I would create a custom one with princess Zelda from BOTW. <3

Edit: Just saw that FIX94's main branch has that sysmenu option now. But it would still wait for buttons to be pressed so this still should be slightly faster as it doesn't wait for that, right?

I don't think the difference would be humanly discernible ;)
This was made before the sysmenu option was available, it is really redundant at this point. Using main branch with default=sysmenu is preferable since you can still add other options if you want them
