Homebrew Having real trouble getting DVDs to play. System 4.0E

Hi Community,

I recently started to softmod my Wii.

I'm on system menu 4.0E.
I used the bannerbomb/hackmii installer.
Installed the homebrew channel, DVDx and boot mii as ios.
Restored the trucha bug using a combo of this guide: http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/hacking-guide/trucha and this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltrd3oq8hPc
Installed this aswell: CIOS36_rev5-64-v1042 as a WAD.

That all went fine.

Then i set up a back up launcher as a channel using WAD manager 1.5 and a WAD file. This went fine too and i can now play burnt backup games.

The problem i'm having is with trying to get regular DVDs to play. I've read a lot of guides that simply say to install DVDx they way that i have and then just use mplayer or mplayer ce to play the DVDs and then that should be it. However, it's not. They still don't play.

I tried downloading the 2 versions of DVDx that are available through the homebrew browser but when i try to install either of them i get the two -2011 errors.

I really hope someone out there can help me. This is pretty much the only other thing i was aiming to do by modding my Wii.

Also, i'm sorry if i posted this in the wrong place. I am new and everthing.

DVDs as in videos youre trying to watch through mplayer, etc?
ive had issues with playing dvds before. here is something i used to get that working, as well as USB2.0 compatability. its old, so im not sure if it downloads the newest stubbed IOS60 from N servers. ill post it anyway, but please be careful.
