Hacking have og ez flash iv with mini sd card adapter and firmware will not update?

i have the og ezflash iv with the mini sd card adpter.
it has the firmware that allows bigger sd cards than 2gb.
it's below 2.0.0
i have a 4 gb micro sd card in it .
trying to update to 2.0.5 do i need a 2gb card?
i don't have my og 2gb micro sd card anymore.

To update EZ-Flash IV u always need the 2GB card will never update via SDHC
