Hacking Have a 3DS XL with newest firmware, any card work currently?

Just like the topic says. I just got a 3DS XL with the newest firmware and looking to play NDS and homebrew stuff on it. I have a NDS if that helps. I also have an Acekard but it looks like there isn't firmware yet to let me use it on my 3DS. What's my best bet currently?

theres a bunch of r4i 3ds cards from various producers, but i believe the dstwo cards are the best you can get right now. though they cost about as much as a full game, they're apparently worth the price due to gba/snes support and being somewhat unblockable

I would ask for the cart to be pre-updated to work on the latest 3DS firmware when purchasing.

An R4 might not work out of the box, whoever you buy it from would have to apply the firmware patch. A DSTwo on the other hand can be patched even on consoles that have already been updated, so it doesnt matter if you buy it patched..

Ok, one last question (for now?): Can a DSTwo play EShop games or are they locked the same a 3ds games?

No they're locked to the console.

A DSTwo only plays DS games and can emulate GBA, SNES, NES, etc. games.
