Hacking Hard drive ''pausing'' is there a workaround?

Everytime i play CoD, my hardrive freezes for 5 seconds every once a while

as you may guess, this gets my ass shot

im currently using a 30 gb seagate, it's the only game it happens with

its must be your internet connection or your hard drive is not very compatible
