I know you can use the cia with pasta on a japanese 3ds, but has anyone with an american 3ds gotten it to work?

I have a jap n3DS emunand 9.5U with Gateway and neither the .cia or the .3ds/.3dz works.
I guess is cryptofixed so we're going to have to wait for a "cracked" version of it, like with TBoI. I don't have a regular 3DS to try but I guess it works aifaik.

It has firm/kernel version 2.50-0 which means minimum of 9.6. So this can only work on old3ds right now.

The cia works fine on gw mode on my 9.5E n3ds emunand, but it doesn't work with any other cfw i tried (cakes, rxtools, reinand). Weird.

Edit : I get it now, they fixed the new ap check in the 3.4 update. I doesn't work too on 3.2.2.

UPDATE: Updating gateway launcher.dat fixed it. Both the 3DS, 3DZ and the CIA works now.
So for gateway users, just update that launcher.dat, even if you're on n3DS.

Well, I've already gotten the US version myself, I mean, if you want it to be japanese I think you already can with the gateway mentioned earlier, but as I do not speak japanese, I'm OK with the US version c:

Thanks! I couldn't have done it without his tool though. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be since the concept is pretty straight forward.

Yes it will. I got it working on my 9.0 n3ds with Pasta

How complicated was it to get the cia working?

It wasn't too bad once I got the seeddb and figured out simple 3ds to cia converter. Decrypt 9 is pretty straight forward.

It's weird, AC HHD is not an eshop game, it shouldn't use the seed crypto.

It does not need cryptofix. I decrypted the exheader using a 4.4.0 Japanese 3DS to create the xorpad, changed the SD Load flag and minimum kernel version in a hex editor, repackaged it, and it worked fine on my sister's 9.0 new 3DS. No touching any SEEDDB.

Nope. Reinand on my sister's 3DS, cakesfw on mine.
