Homebrew Hans crashing before opening?

I've used Hans plenty before and haven't had a problem, but recently after trying to run a physical copy of my Japanese FE IF, Hans crashes before I can even run it. (Trying to run translation patch)

Also worth noting that the game works fine without hans and that Hans works on other games.

I'm currently on New3ds 10.7.

Any common solutions to things like this?

Thanks... I should have realized it was because I'd opened it before. Meep.

I have the right romfs file in, correctly named, and it's consistantly giving me a crash screen. I have to turn off my 3ds to get it to respond at all.

I set it to Japanese region, as the game is, language to default, and only have the romfs on "yes".

Press play and it gives me the crash screen? :x
